Caroline Kerslake, Complete Fit - A Branding Photography Case Study 

A relaxed experience, capturing you and the work you do

I’m delighted to introduce you to Caroline Kerslake, of Complete Fit.  (I'm catching up some case studies from a while ago with this one!).  Caroline is a personal trainer and massage therapist, and does fitness and wellbeing for women in midlife and beyond - with online and in person 1:1 and group fitness classes, massage, and menopause coaching.

Caroline was having a new website designed, and needed some photos to showcase all the different things she does, and she wanted a range of images to use in her marketing and social media too.  So she booked a full branding shoot so that we could fit all that in! 

We did plenty of planning so that we knew the kind of photos Caroline was after, and all the different elements to photograph.  (She had already taken my branding group programme so we knew the look and feel and colours of her brand to match the photos to).  

The full Branding Story Plan gives you around three hours of photography, and we certainly needed all that!  It means we have time for various outfits and props, and also to visit different locations, which we also utilised for Caroline - photographing at her home studio, in the garden, out for a dog walk, and running a group fitness class at the park.  That meant we were also able to plan for the class participants to be in the photos, and for a volunteer massage client too!

I'm so happy Caroline loved her photos!   She said that her previous ones were out of date, and no longer represented her, or the environment she now works in.  It was the right time to do some new ones that really showed Caroline's personality and her work - and all aligned with her brand, ready for her new website.  We got planning during lock down, and were able to get out and do the session in Spring 2021. 

In her feedback Caroline wrote that we had no issues!:

"From start to finish the process was so helpful and easy. Guiding me, asking questions to get me to really think about what I wanted etc, the whole process was great".

All that planning was worth it, and because she loved them, it means that Caroline's been happy and confident to use them everywhere!
